Crafting the Perfect Routine

Time can feel like it’s always disappearing, especially when you need to get things done. I’m with you, you’re not alone in feeling this.

That’s why my coaching has never demanded that you add more to your plate. It makes no sense – you’re already busy enough.

It’s more about refining and adjusting what you’re already doing to suit your needs and desires.  With regular adjustments, over time you’ll have a lifestyle that will be in total contrast with your current one.

Here’s how you’re going to do it 👇

You’re going to experience Puppy Dog syndrome with your healthy lifestyle.

Puppy Dog syndrome??
Well if you’ve ever had a puppy (or any type of offspring in your home), you’ll know that when you get them, they’re tiny! And then in the blink of an eye, they’re fully grown. You’ll look back at photos and be confused where the time went and how much they’ve changed.

You didn’t notice the change, but there was tiny, incremental growth each and every day.

For you, it may be that switching to completely clean and unprocessed foods is too much of a shock. So there’s going to be a transition for your body, mind and routine to adjust appropriately and positively.

But over time your lifestyle and your body will experience tiny, incremental growth each day and you’ll look back and be confused where the time went and how much you’ve changed.🤯

This is how I would approach it 👇

STEP ONE) Where is the growth leading to?

Start by reflecting on your current health and well-being. How would you like your health to support you?
Why do you want certain areas to improve?
What foundation does your wellness need to create for your dream life?
Once you can identify a clear destination, we can lead the ladder against that wall.

STEP TWO) What is currently damaging that growth?

Don’t try to overhaul your entire life overnight. Start with small, manageable adjustments to the habits that is hurting your success.
The key with this is to not completely eliminate, instead, replace the habit with something that provides similar enjoyment.
For example, if you want to stop snacking on chocolate after dinner. Instead of saying, no more treats after dinner. Have berries instead.
So you still get the sweet kick, without negatives.

STEP THREE) What new experiences would support that growth?

For you to reach that dream, and that shift, what is the first domino that needs to fall?
Are there experiences that could help? How often do they need to happen? What do you need to put in place for them to happen?
Sustainability is the key, so as you gradually implement these domino actions, be sure that you’ve got a plan A and a plan B.

STEP FOUR) When do you have an opportunity to reflect?

The best plans need revisions. Having regular opportunity to check in with your vision, your actions and your approach is crucial to the long term success of your habits and improvement.

Want your health to feel less confusing?
There’s a guide for this!

Remember: It’s not all going to figure itself out in a week or even a month. But the Puppy Dog syndrome is real. Keep putting attention to the growth and change that you want to see.

Once you’re on the road to your best self, trust the path, back yourself, and keep committing to yourself in every way you can – it’s all about the incremental growth each and every day.
