Habits to Reignite Your Spark

I know you feel stuck, and I know you believe that there must be a way to get out of the hole – you always do!!

But, for some reason, you just can’t feel how to right now!

There can be a lot of pressure to have it all figured out by now! Especially when family members keep asking about “What’s next?”, and that sometimes you just want to scream at them that you JUST DON’T KNOW!! Surely you should be able to feel okay to be in this space??

I feel this too – most days! Don’t you worry.

It’s natural to find yourself questioning everything and wanting something to change….soon. But sometimes it’s just not enough to know that it’s natural.

This period of life will feel uncertain, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t thrive while you’re finding your feet with life. It’s totally possible and within reach to be able to look back at this period of life and know “That time was really good for me and I needed that!”.

The question is, “How?”

The answer? Habits.

Which habits?

I’ll tell you.

It might shock you, but these habits are not the boring sleep more, move often, eat well bulls***. I mean those things are great, and they definitely help your body thrive! But they’re not going to give you any answers for your future or direction. They’re more maintenance habits, not growth habits.

🔥 Here are the habits to spark the next phase of your life: 🔥

Catch yourself –

Catch which situations cause bliss and which ones cause dread. These are guiding emotions, which are clues into your interests and passions (or not), and can help direct you down avenues to explore (or not).
And if you find that easy, catch yourself living the beliefs and stories that you’ve always lived by. Have you questioned them lately? I mean those are the stories that got you into this mess, aren’t they? Maybe you don’t 100% believe them anymore.

Disconnect –

Life moves fast and if you’re not careful it’ll take you with it.

Disconnecting from devices, people’s expectations and the world in general is crucial.

Having some time to yourself helps you to realise what’s truly important and genuine needs for you. This might look like an afternoon in nature, a weekend away, or a trip abroad.

By realising what you miss when there’s absense gives you a better sense of what you thrive having in your life.

Explore New Experiences –

Sure, you’ve always listened to acoustic music, but have you listened to any other genres? Explore! Be curious!

Question your experiences and how you perceive the world – otherwise you’ll never know any different.

You can explore these new experiences by learning a new skill, putting yourself in uncomfortable situations, meeting new people or starting a hobby you’ve always been interested in.

You might not love it, but you never know until you try.

And finally, this was the big one for me:

Focus On What You DO have

It can be so easy to focus on the things you don’t have, what ever your instability looks like right now. But rarely do you really appreciate and celebrate what is in your life!

Be proud of yourself and embrace the little things.

You may not be where you want to be, but if you told yourself 5 years ago what you’re doing now – I’m sure you’d blow your 5-year-younger’s socks off! Let go of that pressure and stop letting your own standards of ‘good enough’ get in your own way.

Want your health to feel less confusing?
There’s a guide for this!

Remember, you might label this as your quarter-life crisis, but it’s not a crisis, it’s a reset.

This is your season to enjoy exactly where your feet are and embrace the road of self-discovery. There’s no doubt there’s going to be bumps along the road, but if there weren’t – you wouldn’t have any great stories to share.

By prioritising self-care, exploration, and personal growth, you’ll cultivate the clarity and confidence to navigate this transitional period and embark on a path that feels fulfilling and uniquely you.

This uncertainty is a thriving period time that you’re going to look back on and smile.
